In December, plan for daily highs up to 35°C, and evening lows to 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Fri) early enough to drive to Chumphon.

Chumphon is a town in southern Thailand, capital of the Chumphon Province and the Mueang Chumphon District. Start off your visit on the 24th (Sat): examine the collection at Chumphon National Museum and then get great views at Khao Matsee Viewpoint.

You can drive from Hua Hin to Chumphon in 4 hours. In December, daily temperatures in Chumphon can reach 35°C, while at night they dip to 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Ko Lanta.
