Explore Kaohsiung's surroundings by going to Chimei Museum (in Rende), Xiao Liu Qiu (in Liuqiu) and West Central District (Chihkan Tower (Fort Provintia) & Hayashi Department Store). On the 2nd (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: head outdoors with Baiyang Trail, trek along Taroko Gorge, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Xiangde Temple.
