The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
You'll explore and learn at MAK - Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art and Hofmobiliendepot Mobel Museum. Do some cultural sightseeing at Kirche am Steinhof and Phantastenmuseum. Change things up with these side-trips from Vienna: Zauberberg (in Semmering), SCS Shopping Center Sued (in Voesendorf) and Beethovenhaus (in Baden).
