Kuwait City, Kuwait to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Kuwait City to Baku. When traveling from Kuwait City in March, plan for colder days and slightly colder nights in Baku: temperatures range from 13°C by day to 5°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) to allow time to fly to Ganja.

A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Spend the 8th (Wed) exploring at Lake Goygol. Next up on the itinerary: look for all kinds of wild species at Maralgol lake, take in the spiritual surroundings of Shah Abbas Mosque, browse the different shops at Ganja Mall, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Alexander Nevsky Church.

Traveling by flight from Baku to Ganja takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. In March, daily temperatures in Ganja can reach 16°C, while at night they dip to 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 9th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Gabala.

The Gates with Tranquil Peaks and Thrilling Activities

Azerbaijan's "northern gates" promise breathtaking Caucasus Mountain scenery, home to some of the country’s highest peaks, a classy ski resort, traditional rustic villages, and tasty Lezgi cuisine.

Gobustan — 1 night

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
On the 12th (Sun), get a new perspective on nature at Gobustan State Reserve and then don't miss a visit to Mud Volcanoes.

Drive from Gusar to Gobustan in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train; or do a combination of taxi and train. In March in Gobustan, expect temperatures between 13°C during the day and 5°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) so you can fly back home.
