If you are flying in from The Netherlands, the closest major aiports are Hurghada International Airport and Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 37°C in April, and nighttime lows around 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Fri) early enough to catch the flight to Cairo.

Fly from Hurghada to Cairo in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In April, Cairo is a bit cooler than Hurghada - with highs of 34°C and lows of 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 1st (Mon) to allow enough time to fly to Luxor.

Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Cairo in May: highs in Luxor hover around 45°C, while lows dip to 26°C. On the 4th (Thu), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
