Traveling by car from Ljubljana to Kranjska Gora takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. In December, plan for daily highs up to 3°C, and evening lows to -3°C. On the 30th (Fri), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Bled.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
