One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.

Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Cheonggyecheon Stream. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Myeongdong Shopping Street and Dongdaemun Market. Spend the 26th (Sat) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Bukchon Hanok Village, visit Insadong, steep yourself in history at Dongdaemun Gate (Heunginjimun), and take in nature's colorful creations at Namsan Park.

Perth, Australia to Seoul is an approximately 14.5-hour flight. The time zone changes from Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) to Korean Standard Time (KST), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Traveling from Perth in November, expect nights in Seoul to be little chillier, around 3°C, while days are cooler, around 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Sat) early enough to catch the flight to Busan.

Traveling by flight from Seoul to Busan takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. When traveling from Seoul in November, plan for a bit warmer days in Busan, with highs around 18°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 6°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Fri) to allow time to fly back home.
