Predjama Castle and St. George's Church will appeal to history buffs. Visiting Škocjan Caves and Sečovlje Salina Nature Park will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Koper: Lipica Stud Farm (in Lipica) and Lepa Vida Boutique Winery (in Šempas).
