Dammam, Saudi Arabia to Vienna is an approximately 16-hour flight. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Traveling from Dammam in July, expect Vienna to be much colder, temps between 32°C and 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Thu) so you can take a train to Melk.

Melk, a small town of about 5,000, hugs the south side of the Danube.

Take a train from Vienna to Melk in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Traveling from Vienna in July, plan for a bit warmer nights in Melk, with lows around 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Fri) so you can drive to Hallstatt.

Historically known for the production of salt, Halstatt's fine architecture reflects the small village's salt mining legacy.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Hallstatt: Stift Admont (in Admont) and St. Wolfgang (The Pilgrim's Way & Pfarre St. Wolfgang).
