Steeped in cultural and historical heritage, Philadelphia is known as the birthplace of U.S. democracy, as it was once the meeting place for the country's Founding Fathers.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Reading Terminal Market and King of Prussia Mall. Take a break from the city and head to Valley Forge National Historical Park and Independence National Historical Park. And it doesn't end there: try your luck at Harrah's Philadelphia, take a stroll around Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, admire the masterpieces at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and hike along Schuylkill River Trail.

The heart of Pennsylvania's famous "Dutch Country," Lancaster is one of the nation's oldest inland cities, founded in 1730.
Step out of the city life by going to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area and Liberty Mountain Resort. Shop till you drop at Lancaster Central Market and 272 Antiques Mall. Change things up with these side-trips from Lancaster: Good's Store (in East Earl) and Wolf Sanctuary of PA (in Lititz). There's still lots to do: stop by Kitchen Kettle Village.

Easton is a city in and the county seat of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. Start off your visit on the 15th (Wed): cruise along The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor and then look for gifts at Seasons Olive Oil and Vinegar Tap Room. Keep things going the next day: stroll through Bear Creek Ski & Recreation Area and then fly down the slopes at Blue Mountain Resort.
