13 days in Sokcho, Seoul & Gangneung Itinerary

On the 5th (Wed), explore the wealth of natural beauty at Seoraksan National Park. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the spiritual surroundings of Naksansa Temple, stroll around Sokch Seorak Sunrise Park, take in the dramatic scenery at Biryong Falls, witness a stunning natural landmark at Cheoksan Foot Spa Park, then kick back and relax at Cheonjin Beach, and finally visit a coastal fixture at Sokcho Lighthouse Observatory.

Singapore, Singapore to Sokcho is an approximately 18.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Singapore Standard Time to Korean Standard Time is 1 hour. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Thu) early enough to drive to Seoul.

Museum-lovers will get to explore Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Museum of Korea. Get a sense of the local culture at Myeongdong Shopping Street and Insadong. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seoul: DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju) and Suwon (Janganmun Gate, Hwaseong Fortress, &more). Spend the 11th (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. You can drive from Sokcho to Seoul in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or take a bus. In April in Seoul, expect temperatures between 20°C during the day and 9°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Gangneung.

Hwanseongul Cave has been added to your itinerary. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Jeongdongjin Beach and Mangsang Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Chuam Beach and Anmok Beach. It doesn't end there: kick back and relax at Gangmun Beach and head outdoors with Sacheonjin Beach.

You can drive from Seoul to Gangneung in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
