San Francisco, USA to Kangaroo Island is an approximately 24-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Pacific Standard Time to Australian Central Standard Time is 17.5 hours. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Fri) to allow time to fly to Port Lincoln.

Primarily a marine industry town, Port Lincoln has about as many marina trawlers and grain silos as luxury yachts.

Fly from Kangaroo Island to Port Lincoln in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of taxi, ferry, and bus. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Delamere.

Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Newland Memorial Uniting Church and Christ Church. You'll get in some beach time at Carrickalinga Beach and Aldinga Beach. Traveling by car from Port Lincoln to Delamere takes 8.5 hours. In December, daytime highs in Delamere are 79°F, while nighttime lows are 58°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Adelaide.

Adelaide exists contentedly as a cultured, diverse, and attractive city with a laid-back center, leafy residential districts, and an underlying cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Step out of the city life by going to Glenelg Beach and Semaphore Beach. Popular historic sites such as Adelaide Oval and Langmeil Winery are in your itinerary. When in Adelaide, make a side trip to see Murray Street Vineyards in Greenock, approximately Greenock away.
