Enjoy cultural, historical, and culinary exploration during your holiday in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand and the most populous city in the country.

Traveling by shuttle from Bangkok to Pattaya takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. October in Pattaya sees daily highs of 36°C and lows of 28°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Bangsaen.

On the 29th (Sat), contemplate the waterfront views at Ban Bang Phra, get to know the resident critters at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, and then make a trip to Khao Phra Khru Viewpoint. On the 30th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, then buy something for everyone on your list at J Park, and then stroll around Sea Side Park.

You can drive from Pattaya to Bangsaen in an hour. In October in Bangsaen, expect temperatures between 38°C during the day and 29°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Bangkok.

Kick off your visit on the 31st (Mon): take in the spiritual surroundings of Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Assumption Cathedral, stop by St Armani Fashion, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, and finally wander the streets of Khaosan Road.
