Barcelona — 12 nights

Jewel of the Mediterranean

Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Basilica de la Sagrada Familia and Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic) will appeal to history buffs. Get some cultural insight at Parc Guell and Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya - MNAC. Change things up with these side-trips from Barcelona: Museu d'Historia (in Sant Feliu de Guixols), Lloret de Mar (Parish Church of Sant Roma, Lloret Beach, &more) and Colonia Guell Gaudi Crypt (in Santa Coloma de Cervello). There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Peratallada, enjoy the sand and surf at La Playa de Sitges, stroll through Playas de Calella, and examine the collection at Museu Eròtic de Barcelona.
