A charming historic town with many sacred sites cradled in a verdant valley, Paro offers a scenic base to explore the important Buddhist attractions and pristine nature around it.Start off your visit on the 1st (Thu): pause for some photo ops at Dasho Nishioka Chorten, then steep yourself in history at Drukgyel Dzong, and then steep yourself in history at Paro Taktsang. Once synonymous with the mysterious and inaccessible Shangri-La, today Kathmandu draws an ever-increasing number of tourists, catering to independent travelers of various budgets.You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Boudhanath Stupa and Nature & Wildlife Tours.
