Getting from Venice to Salzburg by car takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: fly; or take a train. Expect little chillier temperatures when traveling from Venice in May; daily highs in Salzburg reach 65°F and lows reach 47°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Fri) so you can drive to Linz.

On the 2nd (Fri), test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, take an in-depth tour of KZ-Gedenkstatte Mauthausen, then see the interesting displays at Schlossmuseum Linz, then appreciate the history behind Dreifaltigkeitssaule, and finally make a trip to Hauptplatz. Drive from Salzburg to Linz in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to travel to Berlin.

Berlin is known for sightseeing, museums, and historic sites. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: get a sense of history and politics at Reichstag Building, appreciate the history behind The Holocaust Memorial - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, explore the world behind art at Pergamonmuseum, and step into the grandiose world of Charlottenburg Palace.

Traveling by combination of train and flight from Linz to Berlin takes 6 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. You'll have a few hours on the 7th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Amsterdam.
