A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Thu): explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, then examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and finally examine the collection at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama).
