Step out of La Paz with an excursion to Tiwanaku in Tiwanaku--about 1h 40 min away. Make the 23rd (Sun) an unforgettable day with an extreme tour. Spend the 25th (Tue) exploring the striking scenery along WMDR Yungas Road. And it doesn't end there: take in the dramatic natural features at Valley of the Moon, stroll around Plaza del Monticulo, experience the excitement of Andean Culture Distillery, and make a trip to Mercado de Las Brujas.

If you are flying in from United Arab Emirates, the closest major aiport is El Alto International Airport. April in La Paz sees daily highs of 17°C and lows of 1°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) early enough to fly to Santa Cruz.
