Cairo, Egypt to Lima is an approximately 21-hour flight. The time zone changes from Eastern European Standard Time (EET) to Peru Standard Time (PET), which is usually a -7 hour difference. Traveling from Cairo in February, expect Lima to be a bit warmer, temps between 32°C and 24°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Tue) early enough to catch the flight to Machu Picchu.

Getting from Machu Picchu to Ollantaytambo by train takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive. In March, daytime highs in Ollantaytambo are 23°C, while nighttime lows are 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sat) early enough to take a shuttle to Cusco.
