Exeter to Drumnadrochit is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. In April, daytime highs in Drumnadrochit are 13°C, while nighttime lows are 2°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Wed) so you can drive to Mallaig.

Mallaig ; is a port in Lochaber, on the west coast of the Highlands of Scotland. You'll get in some beach time at Morar Beach and Camusdarach Beach. Visiting Minch Adventures and Traigh Beach will get you outdoors. When in Mallaig, make a side trip to see Samalaman Beach in Glenuig, approximately Glenuig away. Traveling by car from Drumnadrochit to Mallaig takes 2.5 hours. In April in Mallaig, expect temperatures between 11°C during the day and 5°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Fort William.

Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Get some historical perspective at Saint Andrew's Church and Road to the Isles. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to West Highland Way and Inchree Waterfalls. Oban is a resort town within the Argyll and Bute council area of Scotland. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to St. Conan’s Kirk and Castle Stalker. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Carnasserie Castle and Dunadd Fort. Change things up with these side-trips from Oban: Kilmartin (Kilmartin Church and Graveyard & Kilmartin Glen).
