Singapore, Singapore to Sokcho is an approximately 18.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Singapore to Sokcho due to the time zone difference. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) early enough to drive to Gangneung.

Gangneung — 3 nights

You've added Jeongseon Rail Bike, Haslla Art World, Anmok Beach, and other attractions to your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Woljeongsa Temple (in Pyeongchang-gun), Donghae (Mangsang Beach & Mureung Valley) and Daegeumgul (in Samcheok). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Gyeongpodae, get curious at Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum, hike along Jeongdong-Simgok Badabuchae-gil Trail, and kick back and relax at Jeongdongjin Beach.

Drive from Sokcho to Gangneung in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 11th (Tue) so you can go by car to Seoul.

Seoul — 6 nights

When in Seoul, make a side trip to see DMZ Haemaru Village in Paju, approximately Paju away. And it doesn't end there: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, take a stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Cheonggyecheon Stream.

You can drive from Gangneung to Seoul in 2.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. April in Seoul sees daily highs of 20°C and lows of 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) to allow enough time to fly back home.
