The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.Do your shopping at Dongmun Market and The Islander. Change things up with a short trip to Seongsan Ilchulbong in Seogwipo (about 1h 15 min away). There's lots more to do: walk around Sarabong Park, take in nature's colorful creations at Hallim Park, enjoy the sand and surf at Gwakji Gwamul Beach, and step off the mainland to explore Udo.
