Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
Get out of town with these interesting Interlaken side-trips: Chapel Bridge (in Lucerne) and Zurich (Lake Zurich, Musee Visionnaire Zurich, &more). Zermatt — 3 nights

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Go for a jaunt from Zermatt to Saas-Fee to see Saas-Fee Ski Resort about 1h 30 min away. There's still lots to do: take in the awesome beauty at The Matterhorn, explore the different monuments and memorials at Mountaineers' Cemetery, glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and tour the old-fashioned way with a train tour.
