Cairo, Egypt to Dar es Salaam is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Eastern European Standard Time to East Africa Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. In July, Dar es Salaam is a bit cooler than Cairo - with highs of 35°C and lows of 23°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Selous Game Reserve.

Traveling by combination of car and flight from Selous Game Reserve to Zanzibar City takes 21 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and flight. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in July, and nighttime lows around 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 31st (Sat) to allow time to drive to Nungwi.
