Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Chihuly Garden and Glass and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Snoqualmie Falls and Bruce Lee Grave Site. Go for a jaunt from Seattle to Tacoma to see LeMay - America's Car Museum about 36 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: see majestic marine mammals with Puget Sound Express, deepen your understanding at University of Washington, wander the streets of Pike Place Market, and kick back and relax at Alki Beach.
