Yoho National Park — 3 nights

Take a break from the city and head to The Burgess Shale Geoscience Foundation and Paget Peak. Spend the 26th (Wed) exploring nature at Spiral Tunnels. Escape the urban bustle at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Wild Pacific Trail. Relax by the water at Chesterman Beach and Cox Bay Beach. Take a break from Tofino with a short trip to Florencia Bay in Ucluelet, about 34 minutes away. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Long Beach, stroll through Schooner Cove, identify plant and animal life at Maquinna Provincial Marine Park, and contemplate the waterfront views at Clayoquot Sound.
