With the dramatic Carpathian Mountains as backdrop, Brasov is the largest city in a region of mountain resorts.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Brasov is an approximately 10-hour combination of flight and shuttle. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Sat) so you can drive to Lacu Rosu.

Drive from Brasov to Lacu Rosu in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and taxi; or do a combination of train and bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) early enough to drive to Sighisoara.

As a World Heritage Site, Sighisoara is visited mostly for its fortified Old Town surrounded entirely by city walls.

Drive from Lacu Rosu to Sighisoara in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in July, and nighttime lows around 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Wed) so you can drive to Sibiu.
