One of the fastest-growing cities in Chile, Concon attracts visitors with its beaches and seaside entertainment.

Concepcion has emerged as one of the most industrialized and developed metropolises of Chile, with a population approaching 300,000 and a long history of trade and commerce centered around its main port.

Venture out of the city with trips to Caleta Tumbes (in Talcahuano) and Isidora Cousino Park (in Lota). You can drive from Chillan to Concepcion in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus.
