China is a town located on Okinoerabujima, in Ōshima District, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.As of June 2013, the town has an estimated population of 6,506 and a population density of 122 persons per km². Yononushi-no-Haka and Yagurabaka will appeal to history buffs. Get some cultural insight at Okushuraku and Museum of Wadomari Town History and Folklore. Get out of town with these interesting China-cho side-trips: Wadomari-cho (Wanjo Beach, Koshiyama Park, &more), Kunigami-son (Adan Beach, Yanbaru Kuina Lookout, &more) and Iheya-son (Noho Ohashi, Kumaya Cavern, &more).
