A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Head to Le Marais and Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmannfor plenty of shopping. Museum-lovers will get to explore Musee d'Orsay and Musee Nissim de Camondo. Take a break from Paris with a short trip to Palace of Versailles in Versailles, about 48 minutes away. Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Doge's Palace and Piazza San Marco are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Scuola Grande di San Rocco and Basilica di San Marco. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Venice: Piazza dei Signori (in Padua), Centro Storico di Treviso (in Treviso) and Oasi Cervara (in Quinto di Treviso).
