Chennai, India to Gold Coast is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You'll lose 4.5 hours traveling from Chennai to Gold Coast due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Chennai in May, things will get colder in Gold Coast: highs are around 27°C and lows about 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) so you can go by car to Brisbane.

You'll get in some beach time at Mooloolaba Beach and Dicky Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to FloCryo (in Bokarina), Atrium Gallery at Buderim Craft Cottage (in Buderim) and Caloundra (Kings Beach, Shelly Beach, &more). You can drive from Gold Coast to Brisbane in an hour. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. In May, daily temperatures in Brisbane can reach 27°C, while at night they dip to 15°C. You'll have a few hours on the 15th (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling home.
