15 days in Maribor Itinerary

Step off the beaten path and head to Maribor Regional Museum and Vino Gaube. Get in touch with nature at Jelenov Greben Homestead and Hell Cave. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Maribor: Kostanjevica Cave (in Kostanjevica na Krki), Sevnica Castle (in Sevnica) and Brežice (Obstacle Course Academy Slovenia, Brežice Castle, &more). On the 16th (Wed), enjoy a perfect day by the water at Velenje Beach. There's lots more to do: let the kids burn off some steam at Maribor City Park, admire the verdant scenery at Robanov Kot, admire the landmark architecture of Vetrinjski dvor, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Plague Column.
