Nicaragua's largest and capital city, Managua remains relatively unknown as a tourist destination, though it boasts a scenic location on the southwestern shore of the Xolotlan Lake.
Step off the beaten path and head to Chocoyero-El Brujo Natural Reserve and Mezquita De Managua. Escape the urban bustle at Playa de Pochomil and Nejapa Golf & Country Club. There's more to do: make a trip to Plaza de la Revolucion.
