Perpignan — 14 nights

Perpignan is a city, a commune, and the capital of the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at La Voie Verte de L'Agly and River Rafting & Tubing. Get out of town with these interesting Perpignan side-trips: Gruissan (Le Salin de Gruissan & Notre-Dame-des-Auzils), Gorges d'Heric (in Mons) and Le Sentier Sous-Marin de Cerbere-Banyuls (in Cerbere). There's much more to do: take in breathtaking views at Gorges de Caranca, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Les Aigles de Valmy, and enjoy the sand and surf at La Franqui Beach.
