The Samoan capital of Apia serves as the first port of call for most visitors, and it plays home to a number of historic sites, a laid-back seaside promenade, and a range of hotels and restaurants keeping tourists entertained.
Venture out of the city with trips to To Sua Ocean Trench (in Lotofaga), Giant Clam Sanctuary (in Savaia) and Lalomanu (Lalomanu Crater Walk & Lalomanu Beach).
