Port Lincoln — 2 nights

Primarily a marine industry town, Port Lincoln has about as many marina trawlers and grain silos as luxury yachts.
Escape the urban bustle at Shark Diving and Sleaford Bay. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Lincoln National Park and Fishery Bay. It doesn't end there: take a memorable drive along Winter Hill Lookout.

Abandoned by Aborigines a few thousand years ago, Kangaroo Island attracts over 140,000 visitors each year.
Visiting Raptor Domain and Island Beach will get you outdoors. Spend the 15th (Fri) exploring nature at Flinders Chase National Park. The adventure continues: look for all kinds of wild species at Seal Bay Conservation Park, sample the fine beverages at Kangaroo Island Spirits, enjoy the sand and surf at Stokes Beach, and get to know the resident critters at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park.

Fly from Port Lincoln to Kangaroo Island in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of bus, ferry, and taxi. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Delamere.
