Known for its good weather, Taichung boasts an interesting set of cultural attractions, including many temples showing the development of religious architectural styles in the area and forming focal points for most tours of Taichung.
On the 13th (Thu), don't miss a visit to Niumatou Yizhi Wenhua Yuanqu, look for all kinds of wild species at Gaomei Wetland, then wander the streets of Rainbow Village Taichung, and finally look for gifts at Mark Taiwan. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 14th (Fri): see the interesting displays at Gen.Sun Li-Jen Residence, then admire the masterpieces at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, then make a trip to Wenchang Gongmiao, and finally make a trip to Sector Garage.

Located on the southern tip of the eponymous peninsula, Hengchun serves as the entry point to Kenting National Park, often attracting more travelers than locals with its tropical beach resorts and bustling night markets.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Mon): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Kenting National Park. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the galleries of National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium and then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Traveling by car from Yuchi to Hengchun takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi, train, and bus; or do a combination of taxi and bus. Eastern City

Sitting between the mountains and the sea, Taitung offers pleasing scenery no matter what direction you face.
Taitung is known for nature, sightseeing, and parks. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: see the vivid underwater world at Shilang, head outdoors with Taitung Bicycle Road, explore the landscape on two wheels at Taitung Ocean Mountain Bikeway, and go for a walk through Fanchuanbi Grass.

You can drive from Hengchun to Taitung in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 21st (Fri) early enough to fly to Xiulin.

Xiulin — 1 night

Xiulin Township or Sioulin Township is a mountain indigenous township of Hualien County, Taiwan. Start off your visit on the 22nd (Sat): tour the pleasant surroundings at Ch'ing-shui Cliff, hike along Taroko Gorge, and then walk around Jin Heng Park.

Fly from Taitung to Xiulin in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Taipei.

Situated in a basin between two mountain ranges, Taipei appeals to tourists with its blend of Asian cultures, living side by side amidst Japanese-era mansions and Taoist temples.
Venture out of the city with trips to Ruifang (Keelung Mountain & Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street)). You can take a train from Xiulin to Taipei in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In July in Taipei, expect temperatures between 40°C during the day and 31°C at night. On the 26th (Wed), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly back home.
