Traveling by train from Taipei to Xiulin takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) so you can fly to Pingtung City.

Traveling from Pingtung City in March, things will get little chillier in Yuchi: highs are around 26°C and lows about 16°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
