Step out of Los Angeles with an excursion to Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim--about 34 minutes away. Pack the 30th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Disneyland Park. Pack the 1st (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Studios Hollywood. There's lots more to do: take in the waterfront at Santa Monica Pier, admire the landmark architecture of Walt Disney Concert Hall, get a new perspective on nature at La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, and examine the collection at The Getty Center.
