Bright — 4 nights

Bright is a town in northeastern Victoria, Australia, 319 metres above sea level at the southeastern end of the Ovens Valley. Change things up with a short trip to Mount Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board in Mount Hotham (about 1 hour away). There's much more to do: take in breathtaking views at Canyon Walk, tee off at Mt Beauty Golf Club, trek along Cherry Walk Nature Trail, and cast your line with SOUTHERN Fly Fishing ADVENTURES.

Brisbane to Bright is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Plan for little chillier nights when traveling from Brisbane in January since evenings lows in Bright dip to 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Sat) early enough to drive to Falls Creek.
