Expect somewhat warmer temperatures when traveling from San Jose in July; daily highs in Athens reach 91°F and lows reach 75°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Mon) early enough to catch the flight to Kolimbia.

Visiting Agios Pavlos Beach and Agathi Beach will get you outdoors. Your inner history buff will appreciate Monastery Tsambika and The Church of the Panagia. Step out of Kolimbia with an excursion to Pefkos Beach in Pefkos--about 30 minutes away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Lindos Beach, steep yourself in history at Campochiaro, and stroll through Glystra Beach.

You can fly from Athens to Kolimbia in 2.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of ferry and bus; or do a combination of ferry and bus. When traveling from Athens in July, plan for a bit cooler days in Kolimbia, with highs around 86°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Monolithos.
