16 days in Dubai & Abu Dhabi Itinerary

Escape the urban bustle at La Mer and Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Get a sense of the local culture at Mleiha Archaeological Centre and Al Noor Mosque. When in Dubai, make a side trip to see Sharjah Calligraphy Museum in Sharjah, approximately Sharjah away. Make the 18th (Sat) a rough and rugged day at local off-road trails. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Marina Beach, stroll through Kite Beach, get close to the beloved marine mammals with a swim-with-the-dolphins experience, and stop by Deira City Center Shopping Mall.

Manila, Philippines to Dubai is an approximately 12-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Philippine Standard Time to Gulf Standard Time is minus 4 hours. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Manila in February: high temperatures in Dubai hover around 30°C and lows are around 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 24th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Abu Dhabi.

Get some cultural insight at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Folklore Gallery. Step off the beaten path and head to Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Saadiyat Beach Club. Spend the 25th (Sat) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. And it doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of Qasr Al Hosn, explore the world behind art at Louvre Abu Dhabi, pause for some photo ops at The Founder's Memorial, and browse the different shops at Marina Mall.

You can drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in 1.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of subway and bus; or fly. In February, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Dubai.

Do some cultural sightseeing at Dubai Museum & Al Fahidi Fort and Bastakia Quarter. Step off the beaten path and head to Kite Beach and OliOli.
