Crown Jewel of Maui

Once the booming capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the tropical paradise of Lahaina still remains one of Maui's top vacation attractions, providing both culture and recreation.
You'll get in some beach time at Kapalua Beach and Wailea Beach Path. Step out of the city life by going to Honolua Bay and Polo Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Lahaina side-trips: Native Intelligence (in Wailuku), Waihee Ridge Trail (in Waihee) and Ho'okipa Beach Park (in Paia). There's still lots to do: discover the deep blue sea with Ultimate Whale Watch & Snorkel, shop like a local with Maui Hands, enjoy the sand and surf at D.T. Fleming Park, and get engrossed in the history at Baldwin Home Museum.
