Get outdoors at Sólheimajökulll and Horseback Riding Tours. Step off the beaten path and head to Mýrdalsjökull and Reyniskirkja Church. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Tel Aviv to Vik. Prepare for cooler weather when traveling from Tel Aviv in August: high temperatures in Vik hover around 14°C and lows are around 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Grundarfjorour.

Visit Djúpalónssandur beach and Dritvik and Djupalonssandur for some beach relaxation. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Kirkjufell Mountain and Londrangar Basalt Cliffs.
