One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Thu): browse the exhibits of Gyeongbokgung Palace, then take a stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, and then take a stroll through Myeongdong Shopping Street.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sat): examine the collection at O’sulloc Tea Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire the natural beauty at Maze Land and then take in the dramatic scenery at Cheonjiyeon Falls.

Fly from Seoul to Jeju in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry; or do a combination of car and ferry. You'll have a few hours on the 6th (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
On the 6th (Mon), stop by Busan Gamcheon Culture Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 7th (Tue): head outdoors with Haeundae Beach, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggungsa, and then relax and rejuvenate at Shinsegae Centum City Spaland.

Getting from Jeju to Busan by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. In March, daytime highs in Busan are 16°C, while nighttime lows are 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 8th (Wed) to allow time for the flight to Seoul.

Change things up with a short trip to Everland in Yongin (about 1h 15 min away). Pack the 11th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. See some other sides of Seoul: take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, make a trip to Hongik University Street, browse the different shops at Starfield COEX Mall, and take a stroll through Insadong.
