You can ride a ferry from Fira to Mykonos Town in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly. In August, plan for daily highs up to 33°C, and evening lows to 27°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Sat) early enough to catch the ferry to Naxos Town.

Start off your visit on the 13th (Sun): delve into the distant past at The Temple of Apollo – Portara, then contemplate the long history of Old Town, then take a stroll through Kastro, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Agios Prokopios Beach. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Tue): step off the mainland to explore Parikia Town, pause for some serene contemplation at Panagia Ekatondapiliani, then contemplate the long history of Lefkes, and finally kick back and relax at Golden Beach.
