17 days in Madrid, Amsterdam & Berlin Itinerary

Venture out of the city with trips to Toledo (Synagogue of Saint Mary the White, Catedral Primada, &more). There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Prado National Museum, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, make a trip to Puerta del Sol, and steep yourself in history at Plaza Mayor.

Mexico City, Mexico to Madrid is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 7 hours traveling from Mexico City to Madrid. Traveling from Mexico City in January, expect Madrid to be a bit cooler, temps between 12°C and 2°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Wed) so you can fly to Amsterdam.

When in Amsterdam, make a side trip to see Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem, approximately Haarlem away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Anne Frank House, wander the streets of The Jordaan, walk around Vondelpark, and admire the masterpieces at Van Gogh Museum.

Fly from Madrid to Amsterdam in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Madrid in January, you will find days in Amsterdam are a bit cooler (7°C), and nights are about the same (1°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Tue) to allow time to fly to Berlin.

Berlin is known for sightseeing, museums, and historic sites. Getting from Amsterdam to Berlin by flight takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a train. On the 4th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly back home.
