For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.Museum-lovers will appreciate Orlando Science Center and Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens. Kids will appreciate attractions like Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe and Villa Zorayda Museum. Explore Orlando's surroundings by going to Titusville (Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum, American Police Hall of Fame, &more), Kissimmee (Museum of Military History & Fishing Charters & Tours) and St. Augustine (National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios & The Oldest Store Museum). The adventure continues: identify plant and animal life at Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, get engrossed in the history at The Orange County Regional History Center, explore the activities along Kelly Park, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. James Catholic Cathedral.

The Villages is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sumter County, Florida, United States. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Harbor Hills Country Club and Brownwood Farmer's Market. Take a break from the city and head to Carney Island Recreation & Conservation Area and Hacienda Hills. Step out of The Villages to go to Leesburg and see Palatlakaha Environmental and Agricultural Reserve - Pear Park, which is approximately 34 minutes away.
