Wailea is a census-designated place (CDP) in Maui County, Hawaii, United States. Step out of the city life by going to Pipiwai Trail and Makena Beach. Do some cultural sightseeing at Maui Wine, Ulupalakua Vineyards and Keawala'i Congregational Church. Explore Wailea's surroundings by going to Kula (Zipline & Hosmer's Grove), Haleakala National Park (Haleakala Observatories, Pools at Ohe'o, &more) and Haiku (Hana Lava Tubes, Kaumahina State Wayside Park, &more). Kahului to Wailea is an approximately half hour car ride. You can also take a bus. In November, daytime highs in Wailea are 34°C, while nighttime lows are 23°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sun) early enough to go by car back home.
