Traveling by flight from Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Nairobi in February: high temperatures in Maasai Mara National Reserve hover around 25°C and lows are around 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) to allow time to fly to Mombasa.

Spend the 19th (Sun) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. And it doesn't end there: tour the pleasant surroundings at Haller Park, look for gifts at Dazzle Jewellers, take an in-depth tour of Fort Jesus Museum, and wander the streets of Old Town.

Getting from Maasai Mara National Reserve to Mombasa by flight takes about 4 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of car and bus. When traveling from Maasai Mara National Reserve in February, plan for a bit warmer days in Mombasa, with highs around 38°C, while nights are much hotter with lows around 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 20th (Mon) to allow enough time to fly to Nungwi.

In February in Nungwi, expect temperatures between 39°C during the day and 29°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Zanzibar City.

Zanzibar City is known for nature, historic sites, and parks. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: head off the coast to Prison Island - Changuu Private Island, contemplate the long history of House of Wonders (Beit-el-Ajaib), pause for some serene contemplation at Old Slave Market/Anglican Cathedral, and get up close to creatures of the deep with The Safari Blue.
